Race Against Time! Waist folding boxes are being built at an accelerated pace in the flood-stricken areas of Nepal

2025-08-20

Nepal has been hit by severe floods due to continuous heavy rain. Many villages have been submerged and people have been forced to evacuate. The construction of temporary resettlement sites is extremely urgent. Rescue waist folding boxes have been urgently put into use to fully ensure that the affected people have a place to live.
In the safe area after the floodwaters receded, installation work was carried out against time. Local volunteers and professional rescue workers worked closely together, and the scene was bustling. The installation process of the waist folding box has been optimized. The installers first simply level the ground and then directly unfold the main body of the folding box. As the box body is made of lightweight yet sturdy materials, it is easy to move and the installation process is smooth. According to statistics, on average, 20 folding boxes can be installed every hour. Within one day, a temporary resettlement community composed of 300 folding boxes was initially completed, including living areas, medical assistance points and material storage areas.
These folding boxes have excellent waterproof and moisture-proof performance. The raised bottom design effectively avoids the impact of damp ground. In addition, the flexible splicing feature enables the resettlement sites to be adjusted in layout according to the actual terrain and needs, providing strong support for the subsequent rescue and recovery work in the disaster-stricken areas.
